2016...



Well I can classify myself in the said categories:  lethargic, lazy and constant need of motivation and appreciation to push or move things forward for the better. Before I realized what to correct and achieve in 2015, the year has gone by and I cannot afford to do the same this year. This year 2016 I want to to make some changes in the way I do or look at things...

One such failure can be seen on http://getfit-arungv.blogspot.ae/  my eagerness to reduce weight, which was going fine for around 2 months and then it lost its shine and I am again where I had started...  I want to keep this as a reminder to not let my family down and more important MYSELF down so badly in front of my loved ones...  Suppose they expected this only from me, but I feel that I need to change this in 2016...



I am going to breakdown my goals for 2016 into the following categories...  Career, Health, Monetary and Personal...

CAREER:
  1. I will be making changes to my career this year around March, leaving from a company in UAE to perusing my entrepreneurial ambitions..
  2. Identify and establish feasible plans for future...
  3. Understand where and what I want myself to be in the next 2-years, 3-years and 5-years from 2015.
  4. Make proper diary and note keeping for effective monitoring
  5. Introduce 6 new customers to the company from last year
  6. Establish file keeping best practices and maintain less paper
  7. Finish work and duties delegated in a time bound manner

HEALTH:  (I weigh 102.5kgs as on 01-01-2016)

Annual weight loss target to reach 80-82 kgs and 2 trouser sizes less

Beginning 2016, I will not eat/have BEEF.

  1. Fast food limited to only on time a week with reducing the intake of non-veg
  2. Walk on an average 3-4 kms a day / month
  3. Reduce intake of Non-Veg food and become more of a vegetarian (I do not mean to stop Non-Vegetarian food completely)
  4. Exercise an average of 30 minutes a day / week.

MONETARY:
  1. Make Savings a habit and control expenses
  2. Annual saving equivalent to INR 10 Lakhs in bank
  3. Own or have sufficient money to buy 30-35gms of gold apart from the above in point 1
  4. Control purchases of unnecessary and unwanted stuff
  5. Save minimum 5% of the salary every month till 2nd quarter
  6. Save minimum 10% of salary every month in 3rd and 4th quarter

PERSONAL:

If I am able to achieve the above I would have become a better person anyways
  1. Identify and establish feasible plans for future...
  2. Understand where and what I want myself to be in the next 2-years, 3-years and 5-years from 2015.
  3. Maintain good relationship with wife, kids, parents, brothers, sisters-in-laws, parents-in-laws etc
  4. Become a respected and trusted man
  5. Make reading books a habit and to have read at-least 12 books in the year.
  6. Practice and better my cooking and baking skills, focusing more on vegetarian food
  7. Reduce the intake of Non-Veg and control to just 2-3 times a week
  8. Practice to develop spiritualism for self-betterment and enlightenment


There are many things I want to point/list here but refraining to do that as they are related to many points mentioned earlier and by achieving the targets my outlook in life would be POSITIVE and Self-Motivating.
